Two forty year olds acting their age...beside myself...there's an old face for you...on our way to Euro Vesp 1998...and I don't mean the young lady...Archie Tudor...former member of the Black Country Delta's Scooter Club...he still has the same Lambretta GP 200 that he had in 1976...is that some sort of record...the amount of times it broke down on the way to this rally must be...
Check this out...2nd October 1999...Beth & Archie at their wedding reception...I managed to get a pint glass out of Archies hand before I took this photo...Archie has a 50's Ford Consul Convertible...it's a beaut...it broke down on the way back from the church...nothing new there...
Archie's brother Steve...he still has the Lambretta GP 200 I sold him in 92...which I bought off Max (better mention that before he mails me to mention it)...before that he only ever had one scooter...a SX200 he bought in 78 (and run till he bought the GP)...that had an original Arthur Francis 250cc engine in it...with an original clubman exhaust...well wicked and surprisingly reliable...
Three old faces here...only one you can make out...Max from Scooterist Net...I took this photo in Opglabeek...on the NSRA Euro Rally 1994 at around 8.00am on the Sunday morning...Max and co. were just returning from a nightclub...the collapsed heap with the beer bottle in his hand is Alf from the Mansfield Monsters...the moral here is...never let anyone know what your tent looks like...coz your kip will always be disturbed...oh...and as all campers would know...Alf is lying in a pool of piss...
